Movie Review: Inception

Plot: "Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the best in the dangerous art of extraction: stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible - inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse; their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime."

I watched the movie when it came out so you can say I'm a little late on this movie review lol. Anywho, I posted the trailer to this two months ago. All I got from the trailer was that Leo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, my love, were going to be in it. The trailer was entrancing and looked really interesting, but didn't explain the movie at all... or maybe I was just confused like a mother. After watching the movie, I went back to the trailer and it STILL didn't explain the movie to me, but it did make more sense (does anyone understand my logic in that sentence?). Before I went out with my friends - who happen to love JGL just as much as I do, maybe even more - I found out the movie was about 2 1/2 hours long. I thought, "Damn. I can't stay sitting that long. I get too antsy." But once the movie starts those 2 1/2 hours go by so quickly. This movie does NOT lag. Every scene is just as important as the one before. The acting was phenomenal and their outfits were on point. I fell in love with every outfit Ellen Page wore. I can't really explain the movie in my own words in the fact that it made sense, but it still confused me haha. All I know is that the movie's the best movie out this year; however, you might not want to take my word for it since I didn't watch as many movies as I had hoped. But everyone I know who's seen this movie loved it. I REALLY loved the movie so much, I would be willing to pay another $15 just to see it again... GO SEE IT!
