Kendrick Lamar dropped his latest EP December 31st, 2009. Raised in compton, he proudly reps where he's from. He's been in the game since about 2006. I noticed his buzz on twitter. It seemed as if everyone was tweeting @Kendrick_Lamar, from DJ's, other L.A. based artists, and regular "joe shmoes". I got the chance to download his EP a few days after it dropped. His music reflects who he is and where he comes from. This kid has got A LOT of talent! He's makin' "...a statement with these nouns and verbs..." ("Wanna Be Heard" my fave track). If you know his talent spread the word!
