Def Jam Cipher Sessions: West Coast Edition

This lil cipher session was originally suppose to happen tonight, but according to Diz Gibran's tweet, there were a few flight delays, pushing the cipher session to Monday, January 31st. The left coast fellas that'll be reppin' in the east at S.O.B's will be Skeme, YG, El Prez, TiRon, Diz Gibran, and Fashawn.

If you're livin' in NYC, you know where to be Monday night. Buy your tickets here.

Johnny Polygon at The Whiskey-A-Go-Go

If you're not doing anything on September 23, then head over to the Whiskey-A-Go-Go to see Johnny Polygon, El Prez, Shawn Chrystopher, and more perform. It's an all ages show (which I'm not too fond about, but i'll get over it) and it'll be hosted by The Los Angeles Leakers.

Some of the members Dix&Chix will be in attendance, so we'll see you there! :)

Free Show hosted by Backside & Rocksmith

Backside in Burbank along with clothing company Rocksmith will be hosting a Free Jump off for Agenda Weekend at Backside this Friday, August 6 from 7-11 PM. There will be performances by Casey Veggies, CurtAin$, El Prez, and UNI and DJ Vick One of Power 106 will be spinning through the night. There will also be an open bar. Seems like a hell of an event you shouldn't miss.

Ink'd Event

Here's another event where you can catch the TreeHouse Club performing. So if you're free May 29th, go hit it up and check them out... With this event, you'll run into people all tatted up, as well as body artists behind all the artwork...

TreeHouse Club - Red-Eye Flights EP

Here's an EP strictly dedicated to none other than Mary Jane... or at least that's what i'm thinking :) lol The Treehouse Club (DNEZ, El Prez, Chris Focus) dropped the EP earlier today, infamous 4/20, for people to listen to while people light one up. With less than a 1/2 hour left for 4/20, download the EP and FTJ! If not today, download it anyway :)

El Prez feat. FCC - Floss Angeles

came across this video... i KNOW it came out last year, but i wanted to put this up. I remember when this video was released last year. Floss Angeles was the shit last summer lol Seems like everyone's in this video. El Prez, Shawn Chrystopher, DNEZ, Y-O, and a bunch more! Who wants to walk the streets of L.A. with me? lol

Tree House Club - Pattie Cake

The Tree House Club, better known as El Prez, DNEZ, and Chris Focus, have leaked a song off of their upcoming project called Red-Eye Flights which drops April 20, when else, right? lol It's a total spin off of the nursery rhyme i grew up with haha

Download "Pattie Cake" - THC

on the rox.

this show is promisin' to be GREEEAT!
although camille & myself are kinda scared of Freddie Gibbs, i'm sure he'll put on a dope performance & provide a contact high.
the first show we saw cARTer in, we looked at each other like 'wtf' but we came to realize that we should look past his bball shorts & jean jacket & fuck with his music.
& as for Dom. Kennedy, that's obvious, didn't you see my open letter?!?!?! ;)

not featured on the flyer but i read would be there to perform are El Prez & Ayomari. i'm excited to catch Ayomari & see what songs he'll perform from PB&J, which is on heavy rotation in the car.

you can catch the chix & company at this show. Come say hi, we don't bite ;)
& check back after, we'll have videos & pics.

El Prez - Animal Style

What is there to say about this album? I got it! ABOUT muthasuckin' TIME PREZ!!! hahaha And what a perfect time to drop it... yesterday, PREZident's Day, duuh! Every time we'd see El Prez out at shows and events, we'd always ask (or bug) about when we could expect Animal Style to come out. Prez would always answer "we're workin' on it... soon...". Though this album's release has been pushed back a couple of times, now I understand why. He's just been wanting to make sure everything came out good and just right. With producers, such as Ro Blvd, you should expect good beats. Then you've got people like Freddie Gibbs & Diz Gibran featured on the album. As well as El Prez's FCC fam: Shawn Chrystopher, DNEZ, & Chris Focus. Why didn't we post this album yesterday? cuz we've been driving around bumpin' this album EVERYWHERE we went! Mikee even gave his copy to some dude at a stoplight! haha Download this album already! And for all of you that like to "fuel the jets" (i had NO idea what the eff that meant until i saw DNEZ and Focus using it constantly lol), I say listen to "Contact" feat. Freddie Gibbs. Though I don't FTJ, that beat will get your head knockin, feelin' light as facckkk! haha Then there's "Phantoms of the Opera". When I first heard it, the beginning was like "WTF!?!" listen to that joint all the way through... It's my fave track!

El Prez - "Burgertime"

El Prez leaked another song off Animal Style called "Burgertime" produced by DJ Descry. As he said off his tumblr, "This one is dedicated to that 9-5 grind…motivational music, so eat up!" If this song doesn't motivate you to do what you do for a living or at least even make you crave some In-N-Out, then you need help.

El Prez ft. Shawn Chrystopher & Polyester - "Inglewood"

EL Prez comes out with a video song off his upcoming project, Animal Style (make sure to get yours on Presdent's Day). El Prez and Shawn Chrystopher pay a little homage to their city in this song. I can already tell you this video has been on repeat since earlier today. There isn't the glitz and glamor like you would normally expect. It just goes to show you, simplicity brings out the best in things.
