87 Stick Up Kids - Car Keys & Rabbit's Feet

Can I just say AT freakin LAST???? lol.. I had been waiting forever for this album to come out. But leave it to me to wait a damn week to finally give it a listen -___- Like I mentioned before, they teamed up with Мишка for the exclusive release. I'm really impressed. Their music has grown from their previous EP, Out 4 Fame, yet they still stuck true to the 87 sound. If you don't believe me, then check it out for yourself. I guarentee you'll like at LEAST 2 out of the 10 songs off their FREE (yes, FREE) album!

I'm not over....

The more i tune into KROQ (106.7 fm), the more i'm finding songs i just can't get enough of. I haven't given KROQ my full attention since I was in middle school. Now that I'm tuning in more, I'm liking what I hear and the more I remember a lot of the songs they play. One song that i can't get enough of is "I'm Not Over" by Carolina Liar. love, love, love this song!

And speaking of the Isley Brothers... Ron Isley recently linked up with Lauryn Hill for a remake of "Close To You", a song popularized in the 1970's by The Carpenters. Great remake in my opinion.

Alexander Spit - Until Next Summer

WOW! This album is HELLA cool! I remember first meeting Alexander Spit while he was working at the Hundreds shop on Rosewood late last year. We found out he was a Bay area native, but came out here to L.A. to open up even more doors. With music playing in the shop, my friends and I were like "who's that playing on the speakers?" He told us it was him. We were impressed. To be honest, I'd listen to his stuff every now and then, but since downloading his sophomore album, presented by The Hundreds, Until Next Summer, it's cool to say this cat's got a new main-stay fan. I'm REALLY liking the vibe of his album. Very dope hip hop coming from this kid, and if you take a listen for yourself, you can say the same. He produced every song on this album except for one. Kid's very talented, get up on Alexander Spit!

i la-la-la-love this song! It's safe to say this was my secret jam early last year :) the lyrics are too sweet and both artists are great to listen to. Musiq Soulchild puts out awesome love songs and India Arie puts out great music to relax to, so putting these two together on a song just makes you wanna spend more time in bed with someone special ;) If you haven't heard this song, I should probably slap you, BUT i won't cuz i'm pretty nice lol Here's the music video for you...

Erika David - Un-Thinkable (Cover)

i love Erika David... is that too much to say? haha on some real sh!t, i think she's a TALENTED girl! i love watching youtube videos of her singing. Her voice is BOMB! In this youtube video, she's covering Alicia Keys' "Un-Thinkable". Erika David does a damn good job at covering this song. Take a listen to this talented girl!

Bruno Mars - Move On

I'm not sure where this song is from, but it's been out for a while and I just recently heard it. I'm in LOVE with his voice. A little pathetic for the dude on his part, but aside from thinking logically, I'm a hopeless romantic so this song just melts my heart.

Simple answer to that if he asked me! i'd keep it a secret for however long i could keep it as long as i had him! ;] haha jk In all honesty i didn't like the song at first, but it grew on to me. Supposedly, this song will be featured on his upcoming R&B mixtape.

To do a remix to "Power" takes some balls 'cuz it's one isane beat. So it would only be right for this crazy muthasucka to remix on this insane track. Avriel - Bouncer

Confession time. I knew Avriel sang, but I never listened to her music. I knew her as a fellow Kennedy student (just like all the members of DixAndChix) who was the voice of Timberly on "Hey Arnold" and modeled for some elite designers. All I can say about her after hearing her latest song "Bouncer" - featured on Cook's Classics album Recharged - is she has some MAJOR TALENT! The song is perfect for summer time. Don't sleep on her. Along with her beauty, she has the musical chops to prove it (she produces her own music, writes her own songs, and plays several instruments). Download the song here.

This boy def knows how to sell sexy. So here's another sexy song by Songz called "Take You Home" What girl doesn't wanna hear this fine black man say "Girl I wanna take you home"? Now lil girls in their imaginary world can listen to this song and think Trey Songz is actually talking to them lol I like this song, BUT i prefer "Already Taken". With his upcoming album called Passion, Pain, and Pleasure, i wouldn't doubt seeing this song on that album.
