KROQ, Linkin Park, and Blink 182 (aside from *NSYNC, obiviously) pretty much summed up what I listened to back in middle school, so it's pretty exciting to hear this new song...

Gabe effin' Bondoc...

... is at it again! I'm honestly never disappointed when Gabe Bondoc posts new youtube videos. His voice is amazing and his lyrics are always on point when it comes to giving chills up and down a girl's spine. First video is an orginial and the second is a cover of Lupe Fiasco's "Outta My Head" feat. Trey Songz. His version has a nice, acoustic twist... Very pleasing to the ears *sighs* Ahhhh :)

A freestyle should be just that... a freestyle off the top of your head. Not a rhyme written down on your iPhone or Blackberry *ahem*DRAKE*ahem* We should all hold a certain criteria to the "rappers" we take an interest to. And if they can't hold down a simple one minute freestyle, you might wanna think twice about calling them your favorite rapper.

I came across this while procrastinating and LMAO!! This was one hell of a cover. You wouldn't expect this band (Karmin) to give Chris Brown's single a new kind of "je ne sai quoi" flavor to it. But they did. They delivered. And homegirl has a really nice voice.. If you head over to their page, you can view other videos of them covering songs like "I Need A Doctor" by Eminem, "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars, "What's My Name" by Drake (yes, I said Drake b/c I refuse to taint this blog with her name) or "Set Fire To The Rain" by Adele. My favorite lanky ass, weed smokin', tatted up black boy failed me with this video. I hated it. Why? Not just cuz of the lil stupid blonde streak he had goin' on, but I felt he tried too hard to be SoCal. That's just my opinion. But it did help that the stunning Cassie was in the video.

A performance heard around the world...

This performance definitely created a buzz on my timeline last night. It stated with much of the people from the east coast tweeting about OFWGKTA, then the west coast folk tweeting about OF's performance. I don't personally follow them on the regular, but when I do hear about them, they seem to cause much buzz. Tyler, The Creator and Hodgy Beats straight KILLED their performance on Jimmy Fallon last night. So much so, that "OF" was a trending topic on Twitter... worldwide! Like Tyler, The Creator's latest visual project, this performance was oddly interesting. OF performed "Sandwiches" on the show last night. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out here!
