I came across this while procrastinating and LMAO!! This was one hell of a cover. You wouldn't expect this band (Karmin) to give Chris Brown's single a new kind of "je ne sai quoi" flavor to it. But they did. They delivered. And homegirl has a really nice voice.. If you head over to their page, you can view other videos of them covering songs like "I Need A Doctor" by Eminem, "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars, "What's My Name" by Drake (yes, I said Drake b/c I refuse to taint this blog with her name) or "Set Fire To The Rain" by Adele. Aside from obvious talent they have (don't lie to yourself, you know they're good), they have fun doing these covers so check them out!
BONUS: Because I REALLY liked their version.

Chris Brown ft. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne – Look at Me Now
Ohh the stuff you find on worldstarhiphop ... Other than the raunchy sh!t you'd find, here's a SiiiiiCK music video! Back drop being the grimey streets of Brooklyn, New York at night with hot dance moves not only from Chris Brown, but the rest. Got Busta Rhymes and Lil' Wayne in the video too... Honestly, I couldn't help but picture another image watching Chris Brown dance when I was watching this haha =X

Lil' Wayne feat. Corey Gunz- 6'7'
If you know me, you know how I feel about Lil' Wayne. This video was just all over the place. I totally get the concept of him using Inception, but other than that, the video was alright. Ohh and uhh, Corey Gunz in a suit wasn't bad eye candy :)

DJ Khaled feat. Rick Ross, Plies, Lil Wayne & T-Pain – Welcome To My Hood

Let me start off by saying... #ClubBanger!
I'm really feeling this. I can totally imagine being at the club with the friends and everyone goin' bananas once this track comes on. Low key, this is also a song I can picture the rich white girls learning every single lyric to to justify how "hood" they really are :|

Welcome Home Weezy Mixtape by Just.N.Credible
Dedicated to Lil Wayne's release from jail, here's a mix, of basically all, of Lil' Wayne's music. When I first heard this mix, I was like, "Faackk! Weezy's got mad songs!" I never realized how many hits Weezy's had until I listened to this 60 minute mix. Whether they're Weezy's tracks or him being featured on a track, his verses are quite ill, if I do say so myself. Bravo to Just.N.Credible, of the L.A. Leakers & Power 106, for putting this together! great mix! Download and bump this mix in your car... you know you want to ;)Download Welcome Home Weezy Mixtape
Drake x MTV
Sway, from MTV, sits down with Drake and talks about what all us fans wanna know about. From actually being surprised by Lil' Wayne at Drake's Las Vegas concert to his European tour with J. Cole, which i think is TOTALLY unfair for us kickin' it stateside! Drake also talks with Sway about his sophomore album and his relationship with Justin Timberlake *swooooon*
to catch all the videos of Sway interviewing Drake, click here.
Here's a video from Saturday night, where Weezy comes on the stage surprising Drizzy.

"Miss Me" - Drake ft. Lil' Wayne (Music Video)
Let me start off by saying at the :30 sec mark of the video, Drake's face is PRICELESS!
Drake's videos are progressively getting better. This video is 1000xs better than "Best I Ever Had" which was all pretty much a joke anyway. His outfits, on the other hand, are still on the ehh, side. WTF was the all denim outfit with the gray thermal and scarf? Too much, Drake.. Too much. Aside from his facial expressions and outfits, I give the video a 7 3/4 out of 10. The pyros, him watching the girl dance in the room, standing in the middle of an abandoned field, and Weezy's obvious absence (#freeweezy), it was all still a little common.

throwback thursday.
so I promised someone this one for awhile...
ever listen to a song & it takes you to that exact moment; place & time where you heard it & why the song holds such value to you.
this song brings it baaack to a night where feelings might have been hurt but a friendship became a bond that will never break, a night behind the red rope, a night of lots of drinks flowin'& toastin' to stress & a night with no muthafckin' regrets that tops the list of the best moment in our life ;]
if this song means anything to YOU, thank you for sharing that moment with me, i couldn't have asked for a better friend to share it with!
*it's kinda funny how a 'wanna lick you like a rapper' song brought me closer to someone lol (& for the record, no rappers were licked that night lol)
