Every guy has these items in their closet (and ladies, if you want to dress up as this also, I'm sure you can raid your dad's, brother's, or boyfriend's closet). So since it's last minute, I think this would be an easy Halloween costume I think everyone could appreciate. lol



What You'll Need:
- Long Sleeve White Collared Shirt
- White Socks
- White Boxers or Breifs
- Ray Bay Wayfarer or sunglasses looking similar to that
- Candle Holder (optional)

Extra: Split your hair to the side, and pull your hair behind your ear on you left side. If your ears are pierced on that side, get some small hoops; If not get three clip-ons. Also put on some red matte lipstick.

Rapper Edition: Drake

Jeans - Levi's (Make sure they're baggy. The more leg room, the better.)
Shirt - Hane's
Jacket - Levi's
Shoes - K Swiss
Extra: Buy some fake mustaches to put on as your "Drake eyebrows". Tuck your jeans behind the tongues of your shoes. Tucking your shirt in, then showing off your brown belt is optional. And if you want to snazz up the costume a little more, get a knee brace and tell people you tore your ACL.. or just fall dramatically when you're walking around with a mic in your hand.

((**Disclaimer: this IS poking fun at Drake, but the members of dix&chix do like his music, moreso his older stuff than his newer songs. Anyway, if you decide o dress up as Drake, then kudos to you for originality! lol))

Shirt & Fabric for polka dots - American Apparel & HancockFabrics (cut out about a dozen 3 inch circles and sew them on to the sweater.)

Guys Edition: 90s Grunge
(scrawny guys might pull it off better)Obviously, Kurt Cobain - RIP - was the epitome of 90s grunge, so that's why I chose him as inspiration.

Extra: Give off the "I don't give a f*ck" attitude, but still keep it cool. Maybe don't take a shower for a couple days prior to wearing this costume to get that nasty greasy look if you have hair on that pretty little head of yours ;) Also, don't shave. Keep your face scruffy. Also, maybe cute some holes in your pants (like a big ass hole in the knees) and tie a flannel around your waist. It's all your imagination.

Girl Edition: LISA LOEB in "STAY (I MISS YOU)"

I LOVED this song and video when I was younger and I kinda always wanted to be her... i think it's cuz she had some of the cutest glasses, lol..

Extra: To get the true essence of Lisa Loeb in the 90s for Halloween, part your hair in the middle and curl the ends inwards. Wear some dark red lipstick (DON'T add any gloss) and rock the cat eyeliner. Keep it simple, act a little and shy, and maybe bring a stuffed cat with you if you want. haha

Couple Edition: Mario and Princess Peach (or it can be a separate thing. doesn't matter)

MARIO:
overalls - JC Penney

mustache - Spirit
hat - Amazon
Extra: for more detail, add some yellow buttons to your overalls. with you hat, you can get some white fabric, cut a circle and write "M" on it and glue it on there.

PRINCESS PEACH:
dress - ebay
gloves - Great Gloves Online
shoes - Charlotte Russe
earrings - PacSun
necklace - PacSun
crown - Spirit
fabric - Joann <--for this, cut out enough fabric and sew it on to the hip area and let it drape down a little. also, add a trim to the bottom of the dress to complete the look. Extra: if you don't have blond hair, go get yourself a blond wig to complete the look. (**DISCLAIMER: i never said it would look exactly like the authentic one. but i'm sure people aren't that stupid and they'll get the idea of who you're dressed up as.)

It's October already (ALREADY?!?) and I figured "Why not blog about some costume ideas for Halloween?" So this is what I'm doing. I'll be posting about some ideas (DIY or just buy at your local Halloween store) for you guys leading to the day of all Hallow's Eve.

Today's idea for the day: WALDO

I was Waldo last year. It was literally a last minute thing so my outfit didn't look EXACTLY like him, but people still got the idea.
