Just.N.Credible - New Year New Money mixtape

With the new year just starting, there's definitely that new money to be makin'. But according to Just.N.Credible, he says he doesn't "...do this for money, I do it for the love, my dream, and to try to make a difference in this game." That was cute. But now c'mon, he's gotta be doin' it A LITTLE BIT for the money, right? haha (I promise I'm not too much of a b!tch lol) With all jokes aside, here's Just.N.Credible with his latest mixtape for us to grab. This is also his first time hosting his own mixtape. I personally like all the songs on this mixtape, well... except for "Cat Daddy" =X. Other than that, this is a definite download for all of us to have.

I'm not sure if this was the same project the L.A. Leakers were talking about back in January this year, but whatever, it's FINALLY here. I'm not cARTer's biggest fan, maybe 'cuz sometimes he just scares the fcuk outta me when I catch him out at events in L.A. =X Quite intimidating haha ANYWAYS, it's been a while since I've heard something new from cARTer, so here's some new sh!t of his to listen to. I'm def appreciating what this guy put out. It took a while for this project to come out, but it seems as if he made sure he tried to perfect what he could and by listening, you can tell. Dope artwork by conarts.com, if i do say so myself (and not just cuz pink's my fave color). cARTer worked with the L.A. Leakers and DJ Skee to get this project together. Here's the second part of the L.A. Leakers interview with my fave lanky, weed-smokin', black boy, Wiz Khalifa. The end of the interview is mad funny, BUT let me defend us, girls, that will NOT "do anything to get on the bus". Main reason: who knows what you'll catch just steppin' on that bus of his?!? and two: we wouldn't wanna get arrested for possession of sweet mary j boo boo, okaaayyy lol but i will admit, I will roll one up with Wiz, IF i ever get the chance to =X Wiz also mentions "chillum" in the interview... Here's H.O.P.E giving us his long awaited mixtape, hosted by The Los Angeles Leakers, Sincere (The NaStape). It has H.O.P.E. going over his favorite NaS tracks, with features from Diz Gibran, Chase-N-Ca$he (Surf Club), Kent Jamz (OverDoz), and CurTa!n$. Below is the tracklist. It's been a minute since H.O.P.E. has given us a project to listen to. He gave us Follow The Leader in early 2009, so this NaSTape is LONG overdue! I had "Love Lotus" in heavy rotation when I first got Follow The Leader. Now it's time for me to figure out which song is my fave off this tape. I know most of us have been waiting for him to drop this tape for a while, now it's finally here.

The LA Leakers made a project with Clipse under "The Audiobiography" in which they collaborate with artists and give us "a look behind the scenes of what went on making certain records." "Tackle Box" - The Cool Kids x L.A. Leakers

The Cool Kids teamed up with L.A. Leakers for their latest project, Tacklebox. They're best known for me when they were on The Takeover on Power 106 last year. DJ Sourmilk asked them something about what they thought of high school kids copying their style. They gave him what could have been a really simple answer into something so complicated and long winded that all he said after their response was, "Wow. That was a great answer." Other than their long winded answers they give, lol, their music is still something you should check out if you haven't done so already. Click the picture to download.

I agree with what Just.N.Credible said, I also wanna add that not only does this cat have a "Kid Cudi vibe", he also has a Wiz Khalifa feel. So if you visit this blog often, you already know how I feel about Wiz lol But Cudi and Wiz aside, Maad Maxxx is one kid you need to know about. I checked Maad Maxx's MySpace to find more music by him. He had a mixtape drop not too long ago called The Ingle-Wolf under the name LA Goon. Why'd he change his name to Maad Maxxx?? i personally don't know... I do know that I'm feelin' "We Be Ryde'in" & "Fantasy" off that mixtape, so download it and check it for yourself. There's also a song i found on his myspace called "Light It Up". I like the song, but the video for that song is on some homemade sh*t lol Listen to the song and avoid looking at the video hahaha Well, you may wanna take a look every now and then, 'cuz his face ain't bad to look at ;)

Shawn Chrys - "All The Other Kids" (Tagged)

Shawn Chrys pushed back the release date for this track, but he later promised to premiere it tomorrow.. But the LA Leakers got their hands on it and leaked it a day early because that's what they do! (The untagged version will be out soon.)

It's a little different than what I'm used to from him, but I don't hate it. It took me a few listens to get used to it. I'm slowly starting to like the song.

Cornerstone x L.A. Leakers - Cornerstone Mixtape #126

Cornerstone asked the Leakers to make a mixtape for the month of May. Of course they wouldn't just come out with any ordinary mixtape for Cornerstone, they threw in a few exclusives, like "1 For The Money" by Nipsey Hussle. I remember hearing that as the intro to the TakeOver one night, wondering if I'd be able to download it and now i can... and you can too! :) Check the tracklist below to see who else you can listen to on this mixtape.
