Seven Disney Sins

I was browsing along one of the blogs I visit and came across this interesting piece of work. A deviant artist named Chris Hill, used the Disney princesses (and Tinkerbell) to portray the 7 deadly sins. They all pretty much fit the character which made the artwork even more impressive. Check it out below! And if you like what you saw, check out his site. He even did one with the Disney girls as the 7 Virtues. (click to enlarge the photos)

Envy:((yeah, Tink was bitch))
Gluttony: ((she makes overeating look so dainty))
Greed:((love how he remembered the dinglehopper))
Lust: ((Prince Charming DID want to get in her pants right away, so...))
Sloth: ((again, making a sin look so delicate))
Vanity:((It's not her fault she was the most beautiful person in her great provincial town))
Wrath:((she was kind of stubborn, but still loved her!))

What Disney Movies Have Taught Me...

This is just toooooooooo cute!
Source: AJ Rafael

That you can fall in love with someone regardless of how they look...

To be true to your heart...

That love can happen between any two people...

That those we have lost will always be with us...

That even our wildest dreams can come true...

That we must learn to accept differences and love each other for them...

That some of the most beautiful people we will ever know, are beautiful for who they are and not what they look like...

That we are all meant for something great...

That you may find the one you are meant for in the strangest places.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

It was only obvious the way the last Pirates movie ended that there was going to be another installment - even though I was really sad that Will and Elizabeth didn't end up together, but not all endings are happy... even Disney movies :/. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly decided to not join this project, so they will be replaced by Penelope Cruz (she's a beautiful woman, but a lot of the times I can't understand what she says). Anywhooo, below is the first official trailer to the movie. I was iffy about it before I watched the trailer, but now I'm actually kind of excited for it come out.

ALSO, apparently there's going to be a 5th and 6th installment to the Pirates franchise. Johnny Depp's my boo and all, but I don't know if I can handle a 5th and 6th one.. but I may be biting my tongue if the trailer changes my mind like this one did.

Alice In Wonderland

"From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure 'Alice in Wonderland', a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormous, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen's reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Crispin Glover. The screenplay is by Linda Woolverston. Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll's beloved "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) & "Through the Looking-Glass" (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, 'Alive in Wonderland' comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D on March 5, 2010."

"You're invited to a very important date." I'm already counting down the days until this movie comes out. Every time Johnny Depp and Tim Burton team up, it's bound to turn out amazing (Edward Scissorhands being my personal favorite). I'm not a fan of 3-D, but I'll make an exception for this. :)
