NBA 2010 Champions: LAKERS!!!

Where do I begin!?! ohh yeah, LAKERS BAYYBEE!!! ;D Game 7 was definitely a difficult game to watch. The first half was complete sh*t! Where were the Lakers that were playing in game six. No defense, sloppy plays, and bad shots by Bryant. Simple free throws weren't being made, which pissed off me and everyone at the house that was watching. I was also disappointed in how my sister's beast, Gasol, was playing in the first half... like where the eff are you!?! The Celtics were up for the most of the first half. Halftime came along and i seriously set some time off to pray just a little bit. Asked God to help the Lakers actually sink the shots lol The second half started... i was still scared to watch. The major players, Gasol, Bryant, and Fisher were back in the game, playing like they meant it. I don't know where their minds were at during the first half, but as long as it came back, I was happy about it! It was a slow come up, BUT we did it. The Lakers FINALLY lead the Celtics with a big enough lead to make the hearts of L.A. calm down just a lil bit. When Ray Allen was at the line sometime during the 2nd half i was SHOCKED to see him miss his first free throw. From that missed shot, I think the rest of L.A. knew this title was gonna be ours. My favorite player of the night was DEFINITELY, Mr. QUEENSBRIDGE himself, Ron Artest! He stepped up major! With 5 steals and that magical 3 pointer when Kobe passed him the ball, showed me "hey, maybe i should actually like this guy" cuz truth be told, i hated Artest from the start. But after watching last night's game, seeing how HE was the one on the team that stepped up, and watching his after game interview, i'm growing to like this cat lol btw, his single is coming out soon! LMFAO! With all that said, i'd lie to say big ups to the Celtics for keeping up with the Lakers. This series was a great one to witness. Celtics put up a great fight, but in the end the true champs shined through!

Lakers in game 6

Lakers straight SMASHED the Celts last night. Why didn't they do what they did in this game in game 5 and 4!?!? As of now, who the fu*k cares as long as they play the way they did last night in game 7! They picked up their defense, which they didn't have in game 5 and cleaned up their game remarkably compared to game 5. The Celtics had won the past game due to simple layups, but unfortunately for them they seemed to not be making any last night :) Last night's game was fun to watch... like seeing UGLY ASS Perkins get hurt. Call me mean, but yeah, i was glad to see him walk off into the locker room and not come back. As for Rondo, i DID feel bad when he landed straight into Artest's elbow =X poor kid. With all the Celtics' drama aside... the LAKERS will repeat. One more game with home court advantage, we WILL win!

Cry baby?

So Derek Fisher gets a little emotional after winning game 3. Fisher puts SO much of his heart into the game... Can you blame the guy for getting emotional? Game 3 had me on the edge of my seat in the 4th. But with all those replays everyone was asking for, it kinda put the game on hold, and for me, lost it's intensity. Game 1 was great to watch cuz we won, but game 2 was, eehh :/...

Dont forget game 4 tonight! We play on their court, so let's hope to smash them on their court once again :) it's at 6pm PST on ABC. one more thing...

Unlike everyone else, I wasn't able to watch the Lakers vs. Celtics game last night, but i did hear about this whole Pierce getting injured/faking/acting crap. I guess someone decided to play it up, just thought I'd share :)

LAKERS vs. Celtics

As if you didn't see Kobe's last jumper to win the game against the Celtics yesterday, here it is again :)



Yesterday's game between the Lakers and the Celtics was a much anticipated game. It was kind of evident that the Lakers were gonna win since Boston hasn't been doing so well (or is that just the Laker fan in me talking? lol) I mean losing 6 out of the past 9 game prior to the game vs. the Lakers doesn't look too good. The Celtics didn't just hand them this game though. They put up a fight. In the first quarter, L.A. had it in the bag, scoring points here and there. They were in the lead for most of the first half, but by the end of the 1st half, Boston had taken the lead with 52-47. Then the 2nd half came along with the game looking good for the Celtics. I was thinking WTF is going on!?! As it came closer to the end of the 4th quarter, my heart was racing! 88-89, how the fcuk were the Lakers gonna sink the ball in the basket with less than 15 seconds left in the game!? Go figre, Kobe would be the one to make winning shot of the game :) Lakers won 90-89. This was a good game no lie!

big ups to Allen though, but it's just the way my daddy said it "Ray Allen can't guard Kobe"...
